The Central Party Literature Publishing House is under the direct management of the Institute of Party History and Literature of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC). Since its establishment in 1987, the Central Party Literature Publishing House has worked for the purpose of publicizing Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory, the Theory of Three Represents, the Scientific Outlook on Development, and Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, of publicizing the CPC’s fine traditions and conduct, of developing the cause of Party literature and history, and of serving the people wholeheartedly. Its publications are as follows: works on specific topics, major statements, selected works, and excerpts of Party and state leaders including Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zemin, Hu Jintao, and Xi Jinping; important historic and contemporary documents of the Party and the country; biographies, chronicles, research on life experience and thinking, picture albums, and memoirs of revolutionary veterans including Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai, Liu Shaoqi, Zhu De, Ren Bishi, Deng Xiaoping, and Chen Yun; books on the study of Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory, the Theory of Three Represents, the Scientific Outlook on Development, and Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era; books on the history of the CPC and the People’s Republic of China, philosophy, and social sciences; and electronic and audio-visual products related to the abovementioned publications. In May 2022, the Central Party Literature Publishing House was transformed into the Central Party Literature Publishing House CO., Ltd.
For more than 30 years, the Central Party Literature Publishing House has published more than 4,800 books of different types and over 200 audio-visual products; many of them are of high quality. It has worked to serve the overall interests of the Party and the country and to serve the work of Party and state literature editing and research, gaining praise among the theoretical and academic fields and exerting great influence on the readers. It has received many national rewards for many times, including the Best Works Award, the China Government Award for Publishing, and the China Fine Publications Award.
The Central Party Literature Publishing House is comprised of a general office, an editor office, editing section I, editing section II, editing section III (audio-visual editing section), editing section IV, a new technology department, a publishing department, a marketing department, an accounting department, and the Central Party Literature Bookstore.
